Dear Pleasanton Community,
On behalf of the Board of Trustees, Pleasanton educators and students, I want to thank the Pleasanton community for their remarkable commitment and support for our local schools.
We are incredibly grateful for the passage of Measure I1. With your support of Measure I1, we can begin to fund critical improvements and repairs to our schools to create 21st century learning environments that prepare our students for the jobs of tomorrow.
I look forward to engaging our community as we move forward to fund projects on the Measure I1 bond project list that will have a profound impact in providing the learning environments that our students deserve.
I would like to thank all of the amazing volunteers who worked countless hours for the passage of Measure I1. From phone banking to distributing lawn signs, voicing support on social media and speaking with neighbors and community members, the collective effort to pass Measure I1 has been remarkable. And a very special thank you to Jill Buck and Jim Hansen, our volunteer campaign co-chairs, for their extraordinary work to lead this successful movement for Pleasanton students.
Thank you again Pleasanton for your support. This is, truly, an incredible community.
