Our Pleasanton Unified School District schools, staff and students have received numerous state and national recognitions and its graduates regularly pursue top universities and move on to distinguished career paths to make an impact on their community. Like most California school districts, PUSD receives a majority of its funding from the state. While California is now the fifth largest economy in the world, its schools are funded in the bottom 10% when compared to other school systems in the United States. April 3 is our opportunity to speak directly with our legislators together with citizens from Alameda County and beyond.
Pleasanton parents/guardians, students and community members are invited to join Pleasanton Unified School District Educational Leaders, as well as leaders across Alameda County to join our continued collective call for full and fair funding for public education on April 3, 12 - 1:30 p.m. at the State Capital in Sacramento in front of Capital Mall.
