Honoring our Certificated and Classified Leaders during Week of the Administrator (October 10-16)

Dear PUSD Community,

Pleasanton Unified is blessed to have such an experienced team of remarkable and inspiring certificated and classified administrators that work each day to support students, staff and families. The Leadership team’s passion, dedication, and tireless efforts to collaborate with certificated and classified staff, as well as our parents/guardians, students, and community members, has never been more evident.

It is a privilege to serve the PUSD community alongside this amazing group of professionals. Their visionary leadership supports the success of each staff member, student and family. Over the past two years, we have witnessed their steadfast, kind, and thoughtful approaches to a very difficult leadership opportunity. They leaned in and stepped up whenever and wherever there was a need. It was their sense of focus and purpose that enabled our work to reopen our schools safely in August and to welcome the community’s children back to our campuses.

At their September 23 regular meeting, the PUSD Board of Trustees approved a resolution recognizing October 10-16, 2021 as the Week of the Administrator to honor the contributions that our leaders made to support student success.

Whether they worked directly with students and staff at a school site or behind the scenes supporting the work of the team, their tireless efforts are appreciated and have not gone unnoticed.

Please join me and the Board of Trustees by taking a moment to reach out to one of PUSD’s leaders and extend your personal appreciation for the immeasurable difference they continue to make in the lives of our students, staff and the Pleasanton community.

With much gratitude,

David
