Board Unanimously Approves Student Safety and Well-Being Resolution

During its March 13 regular meeting, the Board of Trustees unanimously approved a resolution for student safety and well-being in California public schools. The resolution urges the state of California and U.S. Congress to invest in wraparound services to prevent bullying, harassment, discrimination and violence in our schools and to provide adequate and sustained funding for programs and staff such as counselors, mental health clinicians, nurses, and psychologists, that support students' mental, physical and emotional health. It also calls on both government agencies to prioritize policy that promotes student safety and well-being. Read the full resolution below.
