2024-25 TK & Kindergarten Eligibility Dates and Parent Information Meetings

Kindergarten

  • The child must turn 5 years old, on or before Sept. 1, 2024.

Transitional Kindergarten (TK)

  • The child must turn 5 years old between Sept. 2, 2024 and June 2, 2025

Please note: If you are new to the Pleasanton Unified School District and enrolling for the 2024-25 school year, visit the New Student Enrollment page to complete the enrollment process. New Student Enrollment opens February 5, 2024.

General TK & Kindergarten Information Nights

Parents who are planning to register their children for Kindergarten or Transitional Kindergarten (TK) in the Pleasanton Unified School District (for the 2024-25 school year) are invited to attend a parent information meeting.

TK & Kindergarten Parent Information Night

  • Date: Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2024
  • Time: 6:30-8 pm
  • Location: Fairlands Elementary School Multipurpose Room, 4151 W. Las Positas Blvd., Pleasanton

The Parent Information session will include the following:

  • Enrollment and registration procedures
  • What to expect during Kindergarten (K) and Transitional Kindergarten (TK)
  • Spanish Dual Language Immersion Program
  • Kids Club, before and after school onsite child care
  • Health Services information, including required immunizations before starting school

Spanish Dual Language Immersion Information Night

An informational meeting for the district's Spanish Dual Language Immersion Program will take place Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2024 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Valley View Elementary Library.
