Summer Programs 2018

Planning for Summer Programs 2018
is currently underway

The Pleasanton Unified School District Summer School program serves students who are academically at-risk or students in Special Education who have qualified for an Extended School Year (ESY). In partnership with Pleasanton Adult and Career Education fee-based, non-credit earning enrichment courses will be offered. Additional information regarding all of the summer programs will be available in April 2018.

The K-8 remediation summer school is designed for remediation of skills prior to returning to school in the fall. The High School summer classes (9-12) are for the purposes of credit recovery. If your K-8 student is recommended for summer school you will be notified. High School (9-12) students will be notified by their school counselor. However, if a student does not receive a recommendation from their counselor and they are currently failing a class or have failed a class(es) it is the responsibility of the student and parent to sign up for summer school. It is helpful for parents/guardians and students to monitor high school student progress through Q.
