The Pleasanton PTA Council Special Needs Committee (SNC) is made up of dedicated parent volunteers committed to making a difference in the lives of our special needs students and their families. Committee members include PUSD administrators from Special Education and PBIS as well as Parent Liaison. To find resources, local parent support groups and upcoming locally sponsored events, go to www.pleasantonsnc.org

The SELPA Community Advisory Committee (CAC) is a community “advisory" committee made up of parents and district staff from the six Tri-Valley districts. Tri-Valley SELPA member districts do not endorse or recommend non-SELPA events, but strives to keep our parents and educators informed of opportunities for special education staff and special education students and their families. We do not advertise events by “private-for-profit” agencies.
 
 
All CAC workshops are FREE!
Reservations NOT required. All Tri-Valley CAC workshops and events are intended to be centrally located for easy access by parents of the Livermore, Pleasanton, Dublin, Sunol, Mountain House, and ACOE school districts.

The Livermore Special Needs Parent Group is made up of parents and guardians in the Livermore area whose children have various special needs. It was established by parents, for parents. The group has monthly meetings on the 3rd Wednesday of each month (except for December, June, July, and August) from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at:

Anyone is welcome to attend our meetings, which provide opportunities to:

• Receive parent training 
• Learn about resources in the community
