Facility Rentals

Use of PUSD Facilities
 

The Board of Trustees of the Pleasanton Unified School District recognizes that school facilities are primarily intended for the education of the children of the District. However, school facilities may be used by residents of the community for the purposes set forth in the California Education Code, provided that such use does not interfere with or restrict the educational program of the District.

New Online Reservation System
 

In 2018 Pleasanton Unified School District implemented a new online facility request and rental system, Facilitron, designed to provide a positive user experience for all. With the new system, renters will be able to access photos and descriptions of District facilities, see real-time availability, get estimated quotes, and pay online.

Facilitron will assist with the set-up of organizational accounts and the verification of their non-profit status (if applicable). All payments will be processed through Facilitron. Payment options include PayPal, major credit cards, ACH/eCheck and traditional check. Proof of insurance (COI) and endorsement can be conveniently uploaded into the platform, and/or it can be obtained directly through Facilitron

To reserve a District facility:
  1. Create a Facilitron account @ facilitron.com
  2. Submit your request through the system
  3. Follow instructions in email notifications
  4. For assistance setting up an account and/or in placing a facility use request, you can contact Facilitron directly at: support@facilitron.com or by calling (800) 272-2962 Ext 1.
Rules and Application
 
Use of various school facilities shall be granted to responsible organizations and groups within the community, subject to the rules and regulations set forth by the Board of Trustees and the California Education Code.  General rules and regulations are stated on the PUSD online request system and must be electronically accepted to submit a schedule request. All requests must be complete and submitted not less than two weeks in advance. Confirmation of Facility User Login, password, and scheduled reservations will be sent via email.
 
Liability Insurance
 

Organizations from outside of the District will be asked to provide proof of liability insurance. A Certificate of Liability Insurance naming Pleasanton Unified School District as Certificate Holder and as an Additional Insured on an Endorsement Statement requires the following insurance coverage:

  • $1,000,000 General Liability,
  • $2,000,000 General Aggregate

The insurance carrier must be admitted in the State of California and have an A.M. Best rating of A-VII or higher.

Facility Fees and Utility Charges

Rental, utility, and custodial fees may be charged. All payments for rental charges are payable to Facilitron and checks shall be sent to the District Business Office, Pleasanton Unified School District, 4750 First Street, Pleasanton, CA 94566.
