District Wide Fencing Projects

The fencing projects at Walnut Grove, Alisal, Vintage Hills and Donlon have all been bid and are preparing for summer 2021 construction.  These projects will be completed by August 2021 and will improve site security, improve access to the site, replace gates and add access control to several parking lots.

Fencing projects for 2021 are in design and expected to be bid for Summer Construction.  2020 Fencing project continue with Pleasanton Middle School to be completed prior to summer.

Project Information
 
Schedule:
The fencing installation started in 2019 with Mohr, Harvest Park and Fairlands.  Fencing will be installed at 3-5 sites every summer through 2022 at which point all sites will have a complete fencing system installed.
Scope: 
The goal of the fencing project is to secure the site for student safety and against vandalism.  While site security is the number one priority the team is working diligently on maintaining public access to the fields and blacktop area.   This delicate balance allows safety to be at the forefront while keeping the campuses open and welcoming to the Pleasanton Community.
