SINGLE PLAN FOR STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT (SPSA)

Each year Pleasanton Unified School District School Site Councils (SSC) develop and approve school plans. One aspect of our school plan approval process is that our schools are School Based Coordinated.

School-based coordination allows for site flexibility to better coordinate categorical funds and services to meet student needs. This year the Single Plan for Student Achievement focus is on three of the areas in the District Strategic Plan:
  • Curriculum and Instruction
  • Learning Environment
  • Personal Development

Each principal has worked with their teachers, SSC parents, students at the middle and high schools, and other staff to review student achievement data, set measurable goals and develop focus area action plans.

District staff has encouraged a close alignment between the Strategic Plan, School Plans and Principal goal areas.
