PUSD Students: Your Role in Civics


As a PUSD student, you have a voice in the community.
Make an impact by learning to register, vote, and work at the elections. 

Register to Vote!If you are a 16 or 17 year-old US Citizen*, you are eligible to pre-register. This means that your registration will automatically active at 18 years-old, ensuring you are ready to vote in the next election without worrying about extra stepsIf you are a US Citizen that is 18 or above*, you are eligible to register. This will ensure you are eligible to participate in the next elections. You should register 15 days before the election*You must also not be serving a state or federal prison term for the conviction of a felony, nor found mentally incompetent to vote by a court. You can register online on California's government website, or request a physical registration form at a local library, registrar or voters, or by phone number.

Become an Election Worker!If you are 16 or above, are a US Citizens or Permanent Resident, and have a GPA of 2.5 or higher, you are eligible to work as an election worker! Your service as an Election Workers is what makes elections and democracy possible. You may also be paid.
