Intervention Summer School is by invitation only and is intended for students who are not currently meeting grade-level standards and/or who are deficient in credits. Intervention Summer School is offered at the Elementary, Middle, and High School (Credit Recovery) levels.
Extended School Year (ESY) is provided to students who have an Individual Education Plan (IEP) and who qualify to attend ESY. Students in grades Preschool- grade 16 may attend ESY. Please contact your student's case manager if you have questions about ESY qualification.
Summer Enrichment is a collection of opt-in programs for any student who would like to participate in extended learning opportunities during the summer. Whenever possible, PUSD provides Summer Enrichment programs at no charge for PUSD families. Some enrichment opportunities do require a fee. Fee waivers are available for income-qualified PUSD families. Fee-based programs may be attended by any student from any school district. Summer Enrichment programs are currently being designed and more information will be available in January of 2024.
