Work Permits
A work permit is a document that students under 18 years of age must obtain after they have been offered employment.
Work permits are regularly processed at the district office (5758 W. Las Positas Blvd)
Pleasanton Unified School District may decline issuance of a work permit based on GPA (minimum 2.0 GPA) and/or attendance (minimum 90% attendance).
Students with questions about work permits should email workpermits@pleasantonusd.net.
Work permits must be dropped off at the District Office (5758 W. Las Positas Blvd). Hours: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (closed between 1 and 2:15 p.m.) Emailed/scanned copies cannot be accepted.
Please allow two business days for processing. Students will receive an email when the work permit is complete.
Students picking up their completed Work Permit must show their student ID at the district office (front desk). Students must sign the work permit at the district office.
