2025-26 TK & Kindergarten Eligibility Dates and Parent Information Meetings

Transitional Kindergarten (TK) Eligibility 

  • The child must turn 4 years old on or before Sept. 1, 2025.

Kindergarten Eligibility

  • The child must turn 5 years old on or before Sept. 1, 2025.

Please note: New Student Enrollment will open on Feb. 3, 2025. If you are new to the Pleasanton Unified School District and enrolling for the 2025-26 school year, visit the New Student Enrollment page to complete the enrollment process on or after Feb. 3, 2025.

TK & Kindergarten Information Nights

Parents planning to register their children for Kindergarten or Transitional Kindergarten (TK) in the Pleasanton Unified School District for the 2025-26 school year, are invited to attend a parent information meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2025 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the Fairlands Elementary School Multipurpose Room (4151 W. Las Positas Blvd).

The Parent Information session includes the following:

  • Enrollment and registration procedures
  • What to expect during Kindergarten (K) and Transitional Kindergarten (TK)
  • Spanish Dual Language Immersion Program
  • Kids Club, before and after school onsite child care
  • Health Services information, including required immunizations before starting school

Spanish Dual Language Immersion Information Night

An informational meeting for the district's Spanish Dual Language Immersion Program will take place February 5, 2025 from 5:30-6:30 PM in the Valley View Elementary Library.
