PUSD Mariachi Program
Our innovative PUSD Mariachi Program is an after school enrichment program for students in 3rd through 12th grades that uses a holistic and culturally relevant approach to support our targeted students and their families. Our whole child approach is meant to fully support students by creating pathways of opportunity to the many programs already offered in our school district and further bridge achievement and enrichment gaps.
The PUSD Mariachi Program offers the following:
- Mariachi Instrumental Classes (Guitar, Vihuela, Guitarron, Trumpet, Violin)
- Mariachi Vocal Classes
- Baile Folklorico
- Academic Support
- Enrichment
- Family Dinner

To inquire about students from the PUSD Mariachi and Baile Folklorico programs playing at your community event, please fill out a Performance Inquiry Form. These two groups typically perform for city, school, and community functions in the City of Pleasanton and Tri-Valley.

Estrella del Pueblo is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that directly supports the PUSD Mariachi Program. Estrella del Pueblo generously provides instruments, trajes, and awards scholarships for select students participating in the Mariachi program. The program would not function without the support of Estrella del Pueblo.
